Sofia Salgado is a Hispanic actor, teaching artist, and intimacy director born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received a BFA in Theatre Performance from Florida International University and her MFA in Acting from Indiana University Bloomington.

She’s passionate about telling stories that ignite meaningful conversations—works that inspire change, raise awareness, and foster community. Latin stories also inspire her in theatre, and she is eager to contribute to her community and to telling those stories onstage.

When she’s not performing, you can find her in a café having a cafecito with the sweetest treat she can find!
