Intimacy in Performance

Mission Statement.

I aim to choreograph intimate moments that honor the playwright’s and director’s vision while also stylistically respecting the actor’s boundaries. I will create a space where vulnerability and artistry can flourish, allowing for the creation of profound scenes on stage. The process will be safe and fun for actors and the creative team. When you work with me, you are not just hiring someone to choreograph something, but rather a collaborator who is eager and dedicated to bringing storytelling to life.

Testimonials.

“Your calm, grounded presence in the room was so valuable for creating trust and commitment in the actor’s dynamic, and bringing the story to life in a safe and lively way.”

“I felt comfortable approaching you for insight … but never felt that you reached over your position either to rechoreograph or give notes … I believe that your presence and guidance made the other actors more comfortable, as I know it did for me.”

“…Valuable resource for folks, to remind them to check in and review moments, but without being overly prescriptive or precious about the work.”
